  The Durham Coffee Passport is your guide to exploring the best local coffee shops around town. Each participating shop has their own page featuring a discount on a drink or menu item, details about what makes them special, and a drink recommendation or two. Visit each location, enjoy your perk, and get your passport stamped. Once you’ve collected 25 stamps, you’ll earn an exclusive Durham Coffee Passport reward!

• How do I purchase a passport booklet?

  You can order directly from our Get Your Passport page. Just select the “Durham Coffee Passport,” choose your quantity, and complete checkout.

• Which shops participate in the program?

  We feature a curated list of over 25 local coffee shops, each offering something unique. For the full list, check out our Coffee Shops page. We update the lineup periodically to keep things fresh.

• Earn Your Reward

  Collect 25 stamps in your Durham Coffee Passport to earn an exclusive embroidered Durham Coffee Passport hat. Rewards may change in future editions, but they’ll always be something special to celebrate your coffee adventure.

• Is there an extra cost to get stamped at each coffee shop?

  There’s no extra fee to get your passport stamped. Simply make a purchase and kindly ask the barista to stamp your booklet.

• Do I need to visit the shops in a specific order or by a certain time?

  Nope. You can visit the shops in any order and on your own schedule. Just be sure to complete your Durham Coffee Passport by May 31, 2027 to redeem your discounts and claim your reward.

• How do I claim my reward?

  Once you’ve collected at least 25 stamps, mail your completed Durham Coffee Passport to us along with your return address. We’ll verify it and send your exclusive embroidered hat straight to you as a thank-you for completing the journey.

• When will my passport ship?

  In general, passports are shipped within 1–2 business days of placing your order. If you haven't received your passport within 10 days of placing your order, please reach out.

• Do you offer group or bulk discounts?

  We do. For bulk orders, events, or team-building packages, email sales@thedurhamcoffeepassport.com with more details about your event.

• Can I participate if I’m just visiting Durham?

  Absolutely. The passport is a great way to explore the local coffee scene while you’re in town and save along the way. You can visit as many shops as you’d like during your trip and even take the passport home to finish on your next visit. Just be sure to complete it by May 31, 2027 to redeem your discounts and claim your reward.
